Elite Championships
โ ๏ธ NGB Selection Required
The Elite Championships are open to athletes selected and nominated by their National Governing Body (NGB) only. This is a federation-level competition โ individual entries are not accepted, and a maximum of two athletes per category is allowed per National Team.
National Selection
Athletes must be selected by their National Governing Body (NGB). Individual applications are not accepted โ only NGB-nominated athletes may compete.
Contact Your NGB
Speak with your National Federation to confirm selection criteria, deadlines, and whether you have been nominated to represent your nation.
NGB Submits via Sportdata
Your NGB submits your entry through the official WKF Sportdata platform. You cannot enter directly โ all submissions are made by federations only.
Prepare to Travel
Review venue, schedule, weigh-in, and accreditation details. Ensure your visa or ETA is in place well before the event.

Club Championships
โ Open Entry โ No National Selection Required
The Club Championships are open to all athletes from clubs affiliated with a WKF or CKF member NGB in a Commonwealth nation or territory. No national selection is required โ clubs and individual athletes can enter directly.
Check Club Affiliation
Your club must be affiliated with a WKF or CKF member NGB. Athletes from any affiliated club in a Commonwealth nation or territory are eligible to enter.
No National Selection Required
Unlike the Elite Championships, there is no national selection process. Individual athletes and clubs can enter directly โ no NGB nomination needed.
Enter via Sportdata
Club entries are submitted through the official Sportdata platform. Contact your club or NGB for the submission process in your country.
Prepare to Travel
Review venue, schedule, weigh-in, and accreditation details. Ensure your visa or ETA is in place well before the event.
UK Visa & Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
All international athletes and officials travelling to the UK must check their entry requirements well in advance. Citizens of many Commonwealth nations require a UK visa. Citizens of some countries who do not need a visa may still require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) โ a new UK requirement introduced from 2024.
- โข Apply for your visa or ETA as early as possible โ do not leave this until the last minute
- โข Your National Federation should confirm your entry requirements
- โข ETA costs ยฃ10 and is linked to your passport electronically
- โข Visa applications may take several weeks to process
